The premise

You sold your soul to the Devil. Now you're trapped in his book, and your contract is on the last page.

Features

  • Fast, readable bullet-hell combat with a dodge roll, in the margins of a hand-painted medieval manuscript
  • Four heroes, each with a signature: Brother Quill illuminates his foes, Sir Loin swears vows, Motley leaves a painted double, and Mudd brings his goose
  • 200 weapons drawn from the great books (Beowulf, Moby-Dick, the Odyssey, Don Quixote) and 200+ relics that stack and combine
  • Glosses: write a clause in the Devil's contract each chapter, read his reply in red, and choose the trouble your build can bear
  • Guardians of the margins: the Great Snail, the Rabbit Warlord, the Ink Hydra and more, each with its own fight
  • Two-player online co-op (lobby code or Steam invite) and local co-op, with ghosts that get back up
  • Full controller support with matching button prompts, and a Steam Deck graphics preset

Gameplay

Gameplay reel: the four heroes, the weapons, a guardian and online co-op, captured from the current build. Higher-quality masters and vertical cuts for social video are available on request.
